I see Stratum Plastic have a transversely slotted effluent pipe that is "Manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS 1547": StrataI've seen other PVC pipe with longitudinally slots used for effluent trenches instead of novaflo. NZS 1547 does not have any details on spacing, orientation or sizing of slots in pipes for effluent soakage distribution pipes, though there is reference to AS 2439 which does have specification for perforated pipes. I've ordered AS 2439 to see what it specifies. So what a designers actually specifying when they are using conventional trenches with uncontrolled gravity trickle loading (which should not be very often!)? Thanks Grant
